Yes! I see her emerging from the basement at lunch like a vampire being all "The light it burns" at her colleagues upstairs until they realise she's (mostly) joking. As a cataloguer she does venture upstairs mostly to fix things but inevitably spends most of her time in the stacks downstairs.
I'm not shipping Joel/Spencer. And by not I mean I am.
And yes, they should def be potential work buddies. Keira doesn't bite much.
Oooh digial age, does that include the basement?! Because she'll just be down there going HEARTSINEYESSPENCER if that is the case.
